Course Redesign Institute

Each summer CELT offers an in-person and a virtual Course Redesign Institute. The institute gives faculty the tools and support they need to redesign a course of their choosing.

At the Institute’s end, each participant will have a draft syllabus, policy language, assignments and activities that align with their course learning outcomes. CELT staff and faculty colleagues offer support and feedback along the way.

Faculty Learning Communities and Teaching Partnerships

CELT offers two individualized programs to support faculty making curricular innovations. Faculty Learning Communities are year-long theme based communities of practice. Teaching Partnerships use a peer-to-peer model of faculty curricular support.

Inclusive Teaching Resources

We are committed to creating inclusive classrooms that support the learning of all of our students. These resources support faculty in that work.

Classroom Observations

Peer classroom observations are one of the most valuable tools we have as teachers. Our Teaching Fellows provide compassionate, low-stakes, formative support for their colleagues’ teaching outside of the context of formal review processes.
