Robert Fitton

Biography

I currently buy, fix, schedule and fabricate equipment used in teaching and research. Additionally, I’m interested in light and electron microscopy and digital imaging, and have instructed courses on those technologies. I’m here to assist faculty and students in these capacities supporting research and teaching. I was also on the building committee for Sampson Hoffland Laboratories and the Greenhouse and can help those who have questions about the building. My position is supported by the Reitan Endowment for Teaching and Learning via generous donations.

Since moving to Decorah in 1977 and starting my employment at Luther, I’ve managed to get married, raise children to adults, buy a house, and serve the community on several boards without having to use any get out of jail cards.
